The 2026 “Huapiao Cup” French ACP China Long-Distance Endurance Challenge (Shanghai Stop) officially kicked off in Huapiao Village, Chenjia Town, Chongming.
The event featured three categories — a 31.8 km Experience Ride, a 100 km Challenge Ride, and a 200 km Super Endurance Ride — attracting hundreds of cycling enthusiasts from across the country. Riders set off from the “origin point,” circling the island before returning to where they began.
This was not only a race, but a spiritual pilgrimage rooted in a century-old international cycling tradition. It also marked an important milestone in Chongming’s development as a high-quality outdoor sports destination.

On race day, temperatures in Chongming climbed close to 30°C.
