Journey Review: From Shanghai to Kaihua, Support Every Step of the Way
In the early hours of March 28, the Velowind support team was already fully prepared. At the designated location in Shanghai, the team systematically collected bicycles, using a professionally customized bicycle mounting system to carefully secure each racing bike inside the support vehicle. Every step followed standardized procedures to prevent scratches or deformation during transport, ensuring that all bicycles arrived in perfect condition. Meanwhile, the participating team members gathered in an orderly manner. Together, with their bicycles, they set off for Kaihua in Zhejiang to participate in this cycling celebration.
Throughout the journey, the support vehicle remained on standby, with team members continuously monitoring vehicle conditions and attending to the riders’ needs, ensuring that everyone arrived at the event site in optimal condition, ready for the next day’s competition.

On March 29, the race officially began. Amidst the mountains and rivers of Kaihua, the silhouettes of speeding cyclists created a breathtaking scene. The members of the Shanghai Specialized (Jiangwan) Cycling Club rode with passion and determination, demonstrating their love for cycling through speed and perseverance.
The Velowind support vehicle remained stationed along the race route throughout the day, serving as a reliable safety net for the team. Equipped with professional repair tools and puncture repair kits, the support team was prepared to respond to any unexpected situations such as mechanical issues or rider fatigue. With swift response and efficient service—whether conducting on-the-spot bicycle repairs or supplying refreshments—the team ensured that the riders could focus entirely on the race, giving their best effort without any distractions.

Safe Return: Returning with Achievements, Grateful for the Journey
As the final rider crossed the finish line, the excitement of the race gradually faded, but the support work did not stop there. Immediately after the race, the Velowind team began collecting and checking the bicycles, carefully inspecting each one before securely loading them into the support vehicle, ensuring that every “battle steed” returned safely.
As the setting sun cast its warm glow, the support vehicle departed from Kaihua, carrying the joy and accomplishments of the team, and began the return journey to Shanghai. With a smooth and safe transport, all members and bicycles were successfully handed over, marking the successful conclusion of the support services for the Kaihua event.
