Velowind Inspects 3.0 Outdoor Vehicle Upgrade

On April 1, the head of our design and technical department traveled to Nanchang to conduct an on-site inspection and phased acceptance of the third-generation upgrade and modification progress of Velowind's outdoor sports vehicles at the modification base of Jiangling Motors' main plant — Jiangxi Jiangling Group Special Vehicle Co., Ltd. The vehicle modification has now entered a critical final stage and is scheduled for delivery in mid-April.

From the 3.0 iteration blueprints to the actual vehicle, every step is clearly visible:

Currently, the core processes — including floor raising, cabinet installation, and electrical wiring — have been completed. The leather upholstery for the seats has also been finished; although not yet permanently fixed, the temporary placement already reflects a high level of quality.

The on-site construction is orderly and standardized, with corresponding blueprints and technical parameters posted for each key process, ensuring every modification is executed with precision.

This upgrade incorporates systematic optimizations and enhancements based on user feedback collected during the actual operation of Velowind's existing vehicles. The upgraded vehicle will comfortably accommodate the vertical storage of 6 bicycles, while also providing a comfortable riding experience for 1 driver and 6 passengers.

The upgrades include:

Wall-mounted vertical bike racks: Making full use of the upper space in the cargo area by securing the front wheels in a suspended position.

Embedded V-shaped tire channels: Precisely positioning the rear wheels, and working with side straps to ensure zero movement during transport.

Zoned storage system: Integrating side cabinets and hidden storage space beneath the raised floor to keep tools and gear organized.

Integrated power management: Featuring a reserved grid power inlet and interior outlets to meet power needs during outdoor activities.

The improvements delivered with this vehicle will lay the foundation for subsequent batch modifications and business expansion. In the future, this modification solution will be widely applied to scenarios such as cycling group support, event services, and outdoor camping, offering a safer and more convenient travel solution for cycling enthusiasts.
