Velowind & Partners Explore Xichong MTB Campground Project
On April 2, Velowind (Shenzhen) Sports Technology was invited by the Shenzhen Cycling Association and the Tourism and Sports Department of Kuichong Subdistrict, Shenzhen, to conduct a site inspection for a mountain bike campground project in Xichong.
Located along Shenzhen's eastern coast, Xichong enjoys a superior geographical position and convenient transportation, serving as a key node connecting downtown Shenzhen with surrounding tourist areas. Rich in tourism resources and boasting stunning coastal and mountain scenery, Xichong offers not only rolling hills that provide challenging and enjoyable mountain biking routes for cycling enthusiasts, but also beautiful seaside views. Cyclists can ride between mountains and the sea, enjoying a unique cycling experience. Leveraging these natural advantages, Xichong is gradually becoming a cycling hub for Shenzhen and even surrounding regions.
Luo Yibo, head of Velowind (Shenzhen), stated during the meeting, "Xichong possesses unique, late-mover advantages in tourism. With the popular 'Rose Coast' attraction nearby, connecting to Dameisha and Xiaomeisha in the west and the Nanao Peninsula in the east, Xichong serves as an important transfer point along the Shenzhen Mountain-Sea Greenway, playing a crucial connective role."
On the day of the inspection, relevant personnel gathered in Xichong. Outdoors, Velowind's outdoor sports support vehicle was parked on site, with the eye-catching "Enjoy Life" and "Velowind" logos on its body. The group conducted an on-site survey of Xichong's geographical environment as part of the preliminary assessment for project development.
During the meeting, attendees engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the Xichong mountain bike campground project, covering topics such as project planning and development prospects. Representatives participating in the meeting included those from the Shenzhen Cycling Association, Kuichong Tourism and Sports Department, Xichong Shareholding Cooperative Company, Jiulongshan Chuangshi Sports, and Shanghai Letou Sports.
This inspection and exchange event has marked a solid step forward in advancing the Xichong mountain bike campground project. All parties involved will take this collaboration as an opportunity to fully leverage their respective strengths, jointly promote the development of outdoor sports industry in Xichong, create higher-quality sports experience venues for outdoor enthusiasts, and help elevate the national fitness cause to a new level.
